Registration will open again in late summer for rising 8 – 12th grade students to be part of a young singing community, singing with others in the a cappella style (no preparation needed), hearing some fantastic performances by world-class singers, enjoying refreshments, and getting in on the ground floor of our brand-new seasonal youth chorus — πππ£ππ§ππ ππ’π₯ππ!
Rehearsals begin in October, with an end-of-season concert sometime in mid-February next year.
We are thrilled to partner again with District of Columbia Public Schools (βDCPSβ) to host DCPS Harmony, an immersive youth choral festival in March 2025. Featuring Tessa Walker as the lead clinician and a championship-levelΒ barbershop quartet as the teaching quartet, DCPS Harmony provides an enriching and entertaining educational experience through the unique medium of barbershop-style a cappella close harmony. Over 100 talented students will learn two songs and participate in a public performance that same afternoon.
